Faculty of Education

The department of Foreign Languages Education was established in 2012 under the Faculty of Education in our University. The main purpose of our department is to provide prospective language teachers with the required knowledge and information that is based on contemporary developments and research in the field of language teaching. In regards to this purpose, our department aims to train ‘Teachers of Second Languages’ through theoretical and practical courses.

In addition, students have the opportunity to contribute to their own professional and personal development through courses, projects, seminars, trainings and activities that are provided in collaboration with national and international organizations.

Moreover, our students are better prepared for their teaching positions by participating in teaching internships in an actual classroom in schools that are governed by The Ministry of National Education.
