Istanbul Okan University First Aid Training Center (OKİEM); The Ministry of Health completed its inspections in line with the first aid regulations and received the authority to start training on January 6, 2013.

Istanbul Okan University First Aid Training Center trainings are carried out by experienced instructors who have a "first aid instructor certificate". The purpose of our First Aid Training Center is; To provide individuals with knowledge and skills about first aid and to train first aiders who can approach situations consciously in necessary situations (accidents, etc.).

Certified Basic First Aid Training approved by the Ministry of Health is training consisting of 16 hours in total, 8 hours a day.

Basic First Aid Update Training, approved by the Ministry of Health, is the training provided for people with a first aid certificate to update their knowledge before the certificate expires. These are trainings given in 8 hours in 1 day.

Training is done with groups of at least 7 people. Training is planned with 1 instructor for up to 7 people, and with two instructors for groups of more than 7 people.

Each trainee is given a "Basic First Aid Practices Training Book" approved by the Ministry of Health.

Trainings are carried out theoretically and practically.

Istanbul Okan University First Aid Trainer Training Center (OKIEEM) was authorized to start training on November 15, 2015.

Certified first aid trainer trainings approved by the Ministry of Health are trainings consisting of 40 hours in total, 8 hours a day.

At the end of the training, participants who are successful in the exam held by the Provincial Health Directorate are given an instructor certificate valid for 5 years. In order to serve as a first aid instructor, a total of 40 hours of basic first aid knowledge and training skills are required.

  4. Presentation prepared for one of the first aid topics
