Computer Aided Design / Computer Aided Manufacturing
CAD/CAM has a total of 20 workstations and 20 more are being added. These laboratories are used in computer aided drawing and computer aided design courses and for design / simulation assignments of other courses. Using these laboratories, students can draw three-dimensional machine elements, assemble these parts in a virtual environment and test the machine before manufacturing by moving the machine. After the machine design, programmes to be used in CNC machines can be obtained for the production of parts. In addition, the designed parts can be produced with a 3D printer. The programmes used in these laboratories are as follows:
