Electrical Engineers, Electronics Engineers, Electrical-Electronics Engineers, Electronics and Communication Engineers, Mechatronics Engineers, and Energy System Engineers undergraduate degree holders who scored at least 55 on the ALES exam (organized by OSYM), or 610 (old system) or 149 (new system) on the GRE exam quantitative section, or 450 on the GMAT exam (total score) are eligible to apply to the "Power Electronics and Clean Energy Systems" master of science program at Istanbul Okan University Institute of Natural Sciences.
Applicants should have a bachelor's degree GPA of at least 2.50/4.00. Applicants who have undergraduate degrees in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Control Engineering and Computer Science may also join this master of science program once they have completed the "Scientific Preparatory Program" courses.
English Proficiency Exam: Candidates must score at least 55 on the YDS/ÜDS/KPDS exam (organized by OSYM) or TOEFL: 184 (CBT), 514 (PBT), 66 IBT) within their first year of study.
The applicants who do not have an ALES/GRE/GMAT exam score sheet may be accepted to the master program on condition that he/she will pass the exam during his/her first year in the program as a special student. ALES results are valid for 3 years, and GRE/GMAT scores are valid for 5 years. TOEFL scores are valid for 2 years, whereas ÜDS/KPSD/YDS scores are valid for 3 years.
