O’SIG provides 1 year membership
• Membership will be extended every year if the student is still competent
• Students who complete the following requirements are eligible to apply for O’SIG membership
- Be a current student in Faculty of medicine
- Turkish language proficiency
- At least 65% marks
- At least 2 Recommendation letter from faculty instructor
- No records of disciplinary issues
Membership cancelation
Membership may be cancelled for any of the following reasons
- Static decrease in grades
- Disciplinary issues
- Negative evaluation of the attending surgeon
- Student who is no longer interested
- Attendance shortage (University)
