This program aims to train health technicians to work in dialysis units; taking the dialysis machine to patients requiring dialysis treatment; follow-up and continuation of treatment; termination of dialysis procedures; maintenance of the dialysis machine, informing patients and their families about the stages of the dialysis treatment. The students attend basic medical science and theoretical lectures as well as clinical practice lectures in peritoneum dialysis units.
Students who graduate from this department may work in dialysis units of public and private hospitals and they may also work in the dialysis units of governmental private health institutions under the supervision of specialists.
