The aim of the Vocational School of Health Services is to educate students as qualified personnel needed by the healthcare sector.

Courses and their contents have been formed in accordance with the demands of the healthcare sector.

The academic staff includes experienced specialists and practitioners and leading administrators of the healthcare sector as well as distinguished scholars.

Practical Work
Our University places great importance on practical learning as well as theoretical courses. All of our students in the Vocational School of Health Services are provided with the opportunity to undergo practical training in a great variety of institutions.

Distinctive features of the Vocational School of Health Services at Istanbul Okan University
Unlike those of other universities, graduates of our Vocational School of Health Services enjoy the opportunity of starting their career one step ahead of their peers, thanks to additional courses and certificates valid for the health sector.

Foreign Language: The language of instruction in the Vocational School of Health Services is Turkish, but the college offers an optional one-year English preparation class. Students have English courses all through their education here.

Minor Degrees
Our students can obtain a minor degree by taking a specified number of courses from another program without any further payment.

Transfer to Four-year Programs
Istanbul Okan University provides scholarships for those graduates of our Vocational School of Health Services who prefer to study in one of the four-year programs at our university.

Career Opportunities
Our Career Center extend support to our students in their career planning, not only during their student years, but also after their graduation, thanks to a wide variety of protocols and collaboration agreements with a large number of institutions and companies in the relevant sectors.
