The aim of the Department of Motor Vehicles and Transportation Technologies is to train professionals who specialize in the technologies of motor vehicles, marine vessels, aircraft systems and equipment. There is no doubt that this department will become more popular in the future due to the increasing competitive approaches in these sectors since the past years, the need for professionals specialized in the sector and the regional location of our country.
With the advancement of new generation technologies, sector employees are expected to be familiar with technological developments in the field as well as business management. The technological knowledge and infrastructure needed by the aviation and maritime transportation sectors are conveyed to department students in a detailed and practical manner.
The aim of the program is to train technical personnel to meet the "aircraft technician" need of the civil aviation industry. During the program, all theoretical education of the students is enriched with practical training, and opportunities such as internships are provided to the students where they can apply what they have learned comprehensively. In addition, the computer programs and professional foreign language knowledge that students will need in their professional lives are provided by the most advanced technology and expert training staff.
Students graduating from the Aircraft Technology program, in line with the competencies they have gained; They can work in departments related to manufacturing, maintenance-repair, project, planning, machine drawing and construction in companies serving in the aviation sector.
