Dear Students,
Istanbul Okan University Vocational School has been opening its doors to you with the experience of graduating students in many programs for over ten years. Our school aims to provide you with both theoretical and practical training in 26 programs with its variety of formal education, evening education, English education and distance education programs, and to help you gain a profession.
Since our campus in Tuzla Akfırat is close to the organized industrial zones, the courses given in our school are constantly updated in line with the cooperation made with the relevant sector and most programs are carried out in collaboration with the sector. These studies are carried out in the form of lectures by instructors working in the sector, seminars, sector visits and the lessons being held in the sector work area. In addition, we emphasize the entrepreneurship course and ensure that you meet with people who have success stories in this regard, especially our Foundation President, Bekir OKAN.
In some of our programs, we apply a 3+1 curriculum and provide our students with long-term internships during their education. With our curriculum, we direct you to relevant sectors for internships and help you prepare for your profession in practice, while also helping the sector get to know you and create job opportunities for you. I invite you to our school to find solutions to all your problems with our instructors, who have proven their competence in their profession, and to shape your future together.
One of our biggest goals is to carry on the legacy we received from Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, who founded the Republic of Turkey, with our educational approach, which allows you to acquire a profession with up-to-date approaches.
