The education of the PhD Program in Computer Engineering at Istanbul Okan University is given in the Kadıköy and Tuzla campuses, both in the evenings on weekdays and on the weekends, in the computer laboratories and classrooms equipped with the latest technology.
The aim of our PhD program of Computer Engineering is to provide students with original thinking and independent research skills in this field. This program provides opportunities for students who wish to pursue advanced research and development and advance their careers in both industry and academic domain. PhD students undertake research in a specific field and develop a thesis containing original research results. Students also participate in the academic world by publishing conference or symposium papers and journal articles. Students who successfully graduate from the PhD program have both knowledge and strong research skills and obtain better positions in their careers.
