Provincial Governments


Under the influence of globalization and other political evidence, both non-governmental organizations and local governments have undeniable roles in national and regional development. On the other hand it is clear that Turkey should give importance to these concepts in EU integration process. In this context, "Local Governments" program forms the technical and academic infrastructure of the issue.

The Local Governance Programme aims to enable students to take responsibility and part in service processes of local governments. These students organize the application process of the decisions about local, technical subjects which are taken by the managers.

Graduates from Provincial Governments Program can work for metropolitan municipalities, district municipalities, the European Union local offices, governor’s offices and the other public bodies and private sector offices.

The total credits required for the satisfactory completion of the curriculum are 65 credits. The program additionally requires one internships enduring 40 work days
