The Machinery Program aims to enable students to take responsibility and part in service and manufacture processes of industry. These students organize the application process of the decisions about local, technical subjects which are taken by the managers.

Machinery technicians work in many different areas, such as heating, cooling, automotive, and installation. As the university closest to the business world, we at Okan educate our students in those areas most sought after by employers. People’s demand for energy is constantly on the rise. In the future there will be increasingly high demand for the technicians that work in this area. Therefore, this particular area is a special focus of our program. The automotive industry in our country is constantly growing. We graduate technicians who are ready to work in this area. Our department therefore places special emphasis on this area as well.

The Machinery Program aims to enable students to take responsibility and part in service and manufacture processes of industry. These students organize the application process of the decisions about local, technical subjects which are taken by the managers.

The total credits required for the satisfactory completion of the curriculum are 120 credits. The program additionally requires an internship each enduring 20 work days during summer following the second year.
