16th May 2013 – Music Performance at the Tophane District
Existence of history can be understood visually by the help of architectural pieces. While space is a fact which can be analyzed on spot, music becomes a strucuture that keeps people together and makes up the ideas. On the other hand, audio recordings unleashes the archive files. Another significance of these audio recordings is that it provides the continuity of music. In this respect, the records will turn out to be our objectives to understand the intangible cultural elements of Tophane.
